Annual General Meeting of the Tourist Guides’ Division in VR – 2025 

The Annual General Meeting of the Tourist Guides’ Division in VR will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 20:00 in the VR hall on the 9th floor of Hús verslunarinnar, Kringlan 7. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format—both in-person and online.  Members of the division must register in advance by 12:00 noon on the day of the meeting. 

All full members of the Tourist Guides’ Division in VR may attend. Full members are those who have paid a minimum of ISK 11,365 in total membership fees over the past 12 months, including any payments to Leiðsögn – Tourist Guide Union, and have also paid membership fees for at least one month between June and August 2025. 

 An overview of paid membership fees can be found on Mínar síður at vr.is, and registration for the Tourist Guides’ Division is also done there under Applications. 

Interpretation into English will only be available via Teams. Members who need interpretation on-site are kindly asked to bring their own device and headphones. 

Voting during the meeting will take place either by show of hands or electronically, and all meeting documents are digital. It is important that all attendees bring an appropriate device (a computer or smart device) in order to participate in the voting process. 

The agenda includes standard AGM proceedings according to the division’s rules. In addition, members will vote on a code of ethics for tourist guides and approve the division’s 2026 budget.
