Do you want to serve in the leadership of VR?

The VR Election Committee is calling for individual nominations to the Board of the union and list nominations to the Consultative Council for the 2026–2027 term of office.

The nomination deadline is until 12:00 noon, Wednesday 11 February.

This concerns, on the one hand, individual nominations for seven seats on the Board and, on the other hand, list nominations for 41 seats on the Consultative Council. Written endorsements from 15 VR members are required for an individual nomination to the Board. For a list for the Consultative Council that is submitted against the list of VR’s Nomination Committee to be validly submitted, written endorsements from 422 VR members are required, as well as written consent from the candidates on the list. For further details on nominations and elections to the leadership of the union, see Article 20 of VR’s bylaws.

Attention is drawn to the fact that according to VR’s bylaws, an individual is not permitted to simultaneously be on a list for the Consultative Council and be a candidate for the Board of the union.
