Ten candidates running for the VR Board 2026–2027

The nomination deadline for the VR Board and Consultative Council for the 2026–2027 term expired at noon today, Wednesday, 11 February 2026. A total of 10 nominations were received for the Board and the Election Committee has ruled that all were legally submitted. No opposing list was submitted against the union’s list for the Consultative Council and it is therefore considered elected unopposed.

Seven seats on the union’s Executive Board will be elected. Voting will begin at 10:00 on the morning of Thursday, 5 March 2026, and will conclude at 12:00 noon on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

Candidates will be introduced on the union’s website as soon as possible. They will also be presented in the VR magazine, which will be published in early March.
