The Wage Gap Follows – All Through Life
In the Icelandic labour market, women’s wages are lower than men’s. This wage gap follows women throughout their entire lives – lower wages mean lower income after retirement. At the end of the Year of Women 2025, it is fitting to address this issue, and VR is hosting a forum on women’s pension matters on 20 November.
The forum will be held in VR’s meeting room at the Hús verslunarinnar. The building opens at 8:15 AM with a light breakfast.
