Voting on the arrangement of grants

Electronic voting on the arrangement of grants for VR members began at 10:00 this morning, Monday, 29 September 2025. Voting ends at 12:00 noon on Monday, 20 October 2025.

VR members have applied for grants through the VR Contingency Fund for almost twenty years. The VR Board has now decided to hold a vote on the future arrangement of VR’s grants to its members. The choice is between two options: on the one hand, the VR Contingency Fund, and on the other hand, a grant system similar to that used by many other unions.

All full members of VR have voting rights. In addition, members who paid union dues to VR in May, June, or July 2025 are eligible to vote. The result of the election is binding for the union.
