VR Election Committee calls for candidate lists

It has been decided that a general ballot will be held within VR to elect the union’s representatives to the 47th Congress of the Icelandic Confederation of Labour (ASÍ) in 2026.

A total of 85 representatives and 30 alternates will be elected. Candidate lists, together with endorsements from 1% of full VR members, must be submitted to the Election Committee by email at kjorstjorn@vr.is or delivered to the VR office at Hús verslunarinnar, Kringlan 7, no later than 12:00 noon on Monday, 7 September.
