VR meets with VR members employed by Play

VR will be meeting with VR members who worked at Play in the coming days. An invitation to the meeting will be sent by email to those who worked at the airline and have registered their email address with VR. The meeting will cover the next steps and the rights of VR members.

As is known, Play has ceased operations. Company representatives have stated that employees will be paid their salaries for the month of September, and VR will file a claim for wages and accrued entitlements under the collective agreement on behalf of its members.

VR encourages all VR members who worked at Play to update their email addresses and phone numbers on My Pages at vr.is, as nearly 70 VR members were employed by the airline. VR also reminds its members to register with the Directorate of Labour as soon as possible.

VR will closely monitor the development of this situation and the impact of the bankruptcy on VR members employed by other companies.
