VR supports strike action by BSRB

The Board of VR declares its full support for the strike actions of members of BSRB, the largest federation of public worker unions in Iceland. BSRB members demand equality, the same wages as other workers for the same or similar work. Equality is a fundamental demand of the trade union movement, and VR supports the actions that BSRB considers necessary to enforce it.
