Women at VR offices are going on strike
VR members, please note that due to a women's strike tomorrow, Friday, 24th of October 2025, VR services will be limited when women at VR offices go on strike. Expect delays in service and responses on this day. VR offices in Akranes, Egilsstaðir, Reykjanesbær, Selfossi and Vestmannaeyjar will be closed tomorrow.
We encourage women and non-binary individuals to join the strike on this day and participate in outdoor events in honor of the occasion.
