Would you like to represent VR at the ASÍ Congress?

The 47th ASÍ Congress will be held from 14–16 October 2026 at the Hilton Nordica Hotel in Reykjavík. The theme of the congress is The Future of Work and the Labour Movement. The programme and Congress documents are available on the ASÍ congress website.

VR's delegates to the Congress will be selected through a list election, and VR is now inviting members who wish to stand as candidates for the union's list to come forward. All full members are eligible to stand for election. If you would like to stand as a VR delegate, please send your name and kennitala to frambod@vr.is no later than 12:00 noon on 28 August.

As the number of delegate places is limited, not everyone who stands for election will necessarily be included on the union's candidate list.
