VRs holiday cottages and rental apartments will be closed until the end of ban on gatherings

Due to the recommendations from the Department of Civil Protection and Emergency Management (Almannavarnir), VR will close all the union´s holiday cottages and rental apartments until the ban on gatherings has been lifted on May 4th. Bookings will reopen on May 5th.

VR members who already booked a holiday property during this period of time will be reimbursed in full and VR will be in contact with those concerned. For more information, please contact orlofshus@vr.is. Cancellations will be processed in the coming days.

VR owns 73 holiday cottages and apartments which the union rents to its members. The holiday properties are all over the country. In addition to that, the union rents 20-25 holiday cottages over the summer time.
