This detailed and practical seminar thoroughly covers everything you need to know about managing your finances before retirement. Participants will gain a better understanding of their rights and available options.

Among the questions that will be answered are:

• When is best to begin receiving pension payments?
• What do I need to know about payments and reductions from the Social Insurance Administration (Tryggingastofnun)?
• Is it wise to opt for a partial pension?
• How can I share my pension with my spouse?
• What taxes will I have to pay?

Improved knowledge reduces the likelihood of costly mistakes and creates opportunities to maximize the value of pensions and entitlements. Björn Berg Gunnarsson has 16 years of experience in the financial market and has delivered over 300 lectures on pension matters.

The seminar will be held in VR’s meeting room on the 9th floor of the House of Commerce, Kringlan 7. It is also possible to participate via Teams. Choose the option that suits you best above. Breakfast will be provided for those attending in person.
