Candidates for the VR Board 2026–2027
In the 2026 VR leadership elections, seven seats on the union’s main board will be elected for a one-year term.
At VR’s annual general meeting in 2024, it was approved to extend the term of office of the union’s leadership from two years to four years, and this change will be fully implemented from 2027 onwards. This year, the election is therefore for a one-year term.
Voting will take place from 5 March until noon on 12 March.
All eligible VR members who have registered an email address in VR’s membership system will receive an email when voting begins with information on how to access the ballot. The ballot will also be accessible from the vr.is homepage. The elections will be advertised on the VR website, in online media, and on social media.
