The Annual General Meeting of the Tourist Guides’ Division in VR

PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGED MEETING TIME

The Annual General Meeting of the Tourist Guides’ Division in VR will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 20:00 in the VR hall on the 9th floor of Hús verslunarinnar, Kringlan 7. The meeting will be held both in person and online. 

Members planning to attend must register in advance on the VR website no later than 12:00 noon on the day of the meeting, and specify whether they will attend in person or online. 

All full members of the division are welcome. Full membership is defined as having paid at least ISK 11,365 in total membership fees over the past 12 months, including fees to Leiðsögn – Tourist Guide Union, as well as having paid membership fees to VR for at least one month between June and August 2025. 

Membership fee history is available on My Pages at vr.is, and registration for the Tourist Guides’ Division can be done there under Applications. 

Interpretation into English will only be available via Teams. Members who require interpretation during the in-person meeting should bring their own device and headphones.

Registration for the meeting is closed.

Voting will be conducted by show of hands or electronically, and remote attendees will authenticate via electronic ID. It is essential that all attendees bring the appropriate equipment (a laptop or smart device) to participate in voting.
