Candidates for VR Chair and Board

The nomination period for the positions of VR Chair and Board for the 2025–2029 term ended at noon today, Monday, February 3, 2025.

Elections will be held for the position of Chair, seven seats on the Board, and three seats on the Alternate Board. The VR Election Committee received four nominations for Chairperson and seventeen for the Board, all of which have been deemed legally valid.

As no opposing nominations were submitted against the list for the Board and the Consultative Council, it is considered legally elected.

The elections will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 6, and will close at 12:00 noon on Thursday, March 13.

Further information about the candidates and their priorities will soon be published on the VR website. The nominations will also be presented in the VR magazine, which will be distributed to VR members at the beginning of March.

Update: A total of 17 candidates ran for the Board, but one candidate withdrew their candidacy after the nomination deadline had passed.
