Did you get your December wage bonus?

A special December wage bonus shall be paid no later than 15. December, each year, according to VR's collective wage agreement. The December wage bonus amount for 2020, for a full-time job, is ISK 94,000.

For employees working part-time, and those who receive partial unemployment benefits, the December bonus is calculated proportionally based on the average salary paid for their employment ratio from their employer in the year 2020. The Directorate of Labor will pay the December bonus to those who it can be confirmed are job searching during the period 20. November to 3. December 2020.
