VR's List Composition Committee is seeking candidates for VR's Consultative Council. Those who are interested can apply by sending a message to the email address uppstillingarnefnd@vr.is before 12:00 noon on 22 January 2024.

In accordance with the laws of VR, the List Composition Committee is seeking candidates for the list presented by VR in the list election for the Consultative Council.
The List Composition Committee makes a list for election to the Consultative Council that reflects the union as much as possible in terms of age, gender and occupations of members. Membership length and prior work for the union will also be considered.
Please note that the same individual cannot simultaneously be on the list for the Consultative Council and stand for an individual election for the post of chairman or the Board of VR.

The role of VR's Consultative Council is to advise the union's board regarding various larger issues that may arise in the union's operations, such as the conclusion of collective agreements and larger projects.
