Election results for the chairman of VR

The results of the election for the chairman of VR for the term 2023 – 2025 are as follows:

Ragnar Þór Ingólfsson received 6842 votes or 57,03%
Elva Hrönn Hjartardóttir received 4732 votes or 39,44%

Total number of votes cast were 11997. There were a total of 39,206 members on the electoral register. Voter turnout was therefore 30,6%.

The results of the election to the Board will be announced shortly on VR's website.
