Lunch meeting on the shortening of the working week

VR invites you to an open lunch meeting on the shortening of the working week next Tuesday, November 15. between 12:30 - 2:20pm. The meeting will be held in the Háteigur room at the Grand Hotel.

A light lunch is available from 12:00 noon. Among the speakers at the meeting will be Juliet Schor, a professor at Boston College, and Charlotte Lockhart, one of the founders and CEO of 4-Day Week Global, who will talk about a pilot project for a 4-day working week.

Guðmundur D. Haraldsson, board member of Alda, and Magnús Már Guðmundsson, managing director of BSRB, will also give talks. Lóa Birna Birgisdóttir, director of human resources and working environment at the City of Reykjavík, and Ragnar Þór Ingólfsson, president of VR, in addition to Guðmundur, will sit on a panel at the end of the meeting. The moderator is Svanhildur Ólöf Þórsteinsdóttir, vice-president of VR.
