The new collective agreement will be presented at VR union meeting

VR signed a collective agreement with the Confederation of Icelandic Employers (SA) on Monday, December 12. 2022. The agreement is valid from November 1. 2022 to January 31. 2024.

The new agreement includes a salary increase of 6.75% from November 1. 2022, to a maximum of ISK 66,000. The economic growth increase that was supposed to be paid next year is moved forward and is part of this wage increase.

Significant changes will be made to the VR pay scales and the new rates will apply from November 1. 2022. There will also be an increase to the December and Holiday supplements.

Union meeting on Wednesday, December 14. 2022

VR will hold a union meeting to present the new collective agreement. The meeting will be held in the Háteigur hall at the Grand Hotel on Wednesday, December 14. at 8:00pm.

The meeting will be streamed on-line on My pages on vr.is. Members should log in to My pages with an Íslykill or electronic ID. English interpretation will only be available during streaming.
