VR Members Choose the VR Contingency Fund

The results of the vote on the grant structure at VR are now in. The majority of voting VR members 63.47% chose the VR Contingency Fund. 32.84% voted for the traditional grant system, and 3.69% did not take a position. A total of 7,241 votes were cast, with a voter turnout of 16.16%.

Renewal of Annual Fee for the Blær Housing Association

It is now time to renew the annual fee for the Blær Housng Association. This applies to those who joined the waiting list when registration opened in April 2024 or later. An email has been sent to those concerned. To maintain your place on the waiting list, log in to Mínar síður and click on “Pay annual fee for the Blær Housing Association.” The annual fee is ISK 2,900.

Conclusion of the Wage and Premises Committee on Collective Agreements

In accordance with the provisions of the collective agreements, the joint Wage and Premises Committee of the Confederation of Icelandic Labour and the Confederation of Icelandic Enterprise convened on 29 September to formally assess the premises of the stability agreements. The committee’s assessment is that the premises have been met.
