Statement from the board of VR

Recently collage students have been prominent in their demands towards administrators in terms of response to reports of sexual abuse. It is clear that processes and guidelines have been lacking in this issue, both within educational institutions and on the labour market.

Hamrahlíð Collage has now responded to the students' demands and is the first school to implement an action plan with regard to sexual offenses. The board of VR welcomes this and encourages all schools to implement such an action plan.
