After VR´s Annual General Meeting

VR´s Annual General Meeting was held yesterday, Thursday 21 March 2024. The Board's annual report and the union's financial statements for 2023 were presented and approved. VR's Board submitted 17 proposals for legal amendments, which were all approved, one of which was amended at the meeting. One approved proposal stipulates extending the term of office for the chairman, Board members and members of the Consultative Council from two years to four years. Three members received VR's gold medal in recognition for their excellent work for the union, Gunnar Böðvarsson, Hansína Gísladóttir and Valva Árnadóttir.

The results of the recent election to the Board and the Consultative Council were announced. Click here for the results of the elections. Other general meeting duties were conducted.
